Legal assistants are professionals that play an important role supporting lawyers within all types of law firms and practices.  They assist with work that is needed during a trial, completing research or looking into case facts, and drafting documents such as deeds, wills, affidavits, and briefs, overseeing databases.

triOS College has developed the Legal Assistant diploma program to provide you with the skills that you need to succeed. As a student, you will be provided the opportunity to gain the core legal knowledge that you need to start your new career such as:

  • Training in the latest legal software such as PCLaw Automated Civil Litigation (ACL3), Teraview, Conveyancer, Fast Company, Divorcemate, and Estate-a-base
  • Workplace skills training such as Interpersonal Communication, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, and Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Decision Making skills
  • Introduction to various areas of law
  • Legal Research and writing training
