TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are awarded to students in their last year of high school or CEGEP (in Quebec) who have demonstrated leadership in improving their community.
A Personal Support Worker (PSW) provides assistance with a client’s daily living activities, their personal care and hygiene, mobility, and helping with the management of household activities.
The PSW diploma program at triOS College will provide you with the administrative knowledge and clinical skills needed to work as a Personal Support Worker in Ontario by developing your skills required to provide personal support services to client and their families, in hospitals, long-term care facilities, or in their own home.
triOS College utilizes the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) approved personal support worker curriculum. Courses taught in classrooms simulate real-world healthcare settings that include hospital beds, wheel chairs and other equipment used in performing your PSW duties. You will also perform a clinical work practicum in a community long-term care facility.
