Eastern College and Supply Chain Canada reach an agreement providing path to SCMPTM Designation

Eastern College in New Brunswick and Supply Chain Canada, New Brunswick Institute signed a new agreement that provides an efficient path for graduates of Eastern College’s Supply Chain and Logistics programs to pursue their Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMPTM) designation.

The SCMPTM designation is an internationally accredited certification of strategic supply chain leadership, and is Canada’s most widely held designation in supply chain management.

The agreement between Eastern College and Supply Chain Canada will provide an efficient path for graduates of the program, who achieve a grade of 70% or higher completed within the last five years, to advanced standing towards the following SCMP academic program components:

  • Module 2: Procurement and Supply Management
  • Module 3: Logistics and Transportation
  • Module 4: Operations and Process Management
  • Workshop 2: Negotiation Skills

To grant advanced standing, Supply Chain Canada assesses the curriculum for each program component.
