Learn how to create characters and game levels for interactive media, while expressing your artistic creativity through triOS College’s Video Game Art diploma program.
Video Game Art Program Overview
Throughout the courses in this program that teach concepts used in today’s gaming industry, you will develop your skills as a digital artist. You will also analyze existing video game mechanics, technical design, documentation, planning and implementation, provide you a well-rounded perspective of video game design.
Courses Include:
- Video Game Design Fundamentals
- Storyboarding
- 2D Environments including 2D Pixel Art, 2D Animation and 2D Level Design
- 3D Drawing, 3D Environmental Modelling, 3D Environment Texturing, 3D Level Design
- Digital Drawing
- Character Modelling
A key component of the Video Game Art program is developing your professional portfolio. Throughout the courses, you will complete many concepts, multiple gaming projects in both Unity and Unreal Engines, multiple character and environment models, animation sequences, optimized textures and UV maps for various platforms, as well as a demo reel.
Students in the Video Game Art program receive:
- Real-world work experience including a 16-week internship (Optional)
