Animated television shows and movies have exploded into the entertainment industry and there has also been an increase in the use of visual effects technology (VFX) in the mainstream film industry.
If you want to gain the skills and knowledge required to unleash your creativity using film technology as your vehicle, LaSalle College Vancouver can help you reach your career goals with the innovative VFX for Film & Television Diploma program.
VFX techniques allows actors to be filmed in front of a blank screen, with various special effects, backgrounds, or other characters and creatures being added during post-production through the use of computer technology.
At LaSalle College Vancouver, you are taught the theory behind VFX technology and are provided the means to use it as a creative tool through hands-on training. Course topics, such as compositing, cinematography, 3-D modeling, film editing, and digital imaging will prepare you to develop a portfolio and graduate having a professional demo reel in hand.
If you have the commitment and think you have the talent to combine images, space, movement, sounds, and the imagination to communicate and entertain, the place to start is with LaSalle College Vancouver’s VFX for Film & Television program.
