Pharmacy Assistant Program Information

At Robertson College you receive hands-on training in state-of the-art pharmacy labs and real-world experience through a practicum.  Throughout the pharmacy assistant course you will learn:

  • Medical terminology and pharmacology of drug classes
  • About human anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology
  • Pharmacy Assistant math calculations
  • How to maintain inventory and drug storage
  • Prepare, package and label prescriptions
  • Prepare and submit third party insurance claims
  • Provide support to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians

Robertson College offers a flexible program schedule, with new classes starting all year long.  

This program is delivered through a Hybrid model; a mix of on-line and on-campus learning.
