Be a vital member of a pharmacy by assisting in the preparation of prescribed medication to inventory management and providing customer service.

Pharmacy Assistant Diploma Program Information

The Pharmacy Assistant diploma program at Anderson College will provide you with an interactive learning experience on key topics such as compounding and dispensing prescriptions.

The curriculum covers areas such as: role of the assistant, dispensing, provincial and federal legislation, pharmacology, compounding drug distribution systems, pharmaceutical calculations and more.

At the end of the program, you will participate in a practicum with on the job training, arranged through the college, where you will have the opportunity to perform the duties learned in class and in the lab in a real-world community retail pharmacy setting.


The Pharmacy Assistant program is available at the following Anderson College locations:

  • London
  • Kitchener
