Train for this rewarding career in health care by enrolling in the Nursing Assistant Diploma program at Robertson College. The Nursing Assistant courses prepare you for a career as a Nursing Assistant or Health Care Aide by providing training on how to provide client centered care. The Unit Clerk component provides training in navigating the Health Care Delivery System, how to arrange patient admissions and discharges and all other aspects necessary to work as a unit clerk.
Robertson College’s hand’s on approach to teaching, gives student real world experience and their small class sizes gives students a greater opportunity to ask questions and participate in class discussions.
Practicum: Program consists of two practicums, giving you hands-on experience in real situations. Upon completion of the practicum, the Career Services department will work with you and assist you to find employment in your chosen field.
