Learn how to combat cyber crime with the Network Security Technician diploma program at Robertson College.  The Network Security Technician program is designed to introduce you to system analysis in order to ensure network and system security.  

In the Network Security Technician program, you will:

  • Learn about hardware and software concepts including installation, configuration and troubleshooting and networks and stand-alone PCs
  • Learn about the intrusion detection techniques and, how to respond to break-ins and assess the damage to the network
  • Get an overview of information security including inspection and protection of information assets and the detection and reaction to cyber threats
  • Be introduced to the fundamentals of cyber-crime, methods, and toolsLearn about Internet Security including terminology, the technologies, and processes Examine the Linux operating system from the perspective of a system power user and administrator
