T he Medical – Pharmacy Assistant program combines both the Medical Office Assistant program and the Pharmacy Assistant program.

Medical Office Assistant Component

The Medical Office Assistant component of this program will give you with the skills to be a medical office assistant where you will learn office and clinical procedures, billing and electronic health records, transcription, medical terminology and more.  

Pharmacy Component

The Pharmacy component will prepare you for a career as a pharmacy assistant and where you will learn the technical skills such as Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical calculated, compounding and more.

You will also be trained in Standard First Aid with CPR & AED, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. Prior to graduation, you will participate in a four-week practicum to gain practical work experience in your specialization of choice.
