Our Dual Degree: M.A. Counseling Psychology/M.S. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program offers the opportunity for students to pursue multiple credentials, including licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®). Offering a solid foundation in behavior analysis, as well as providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative skills, this dual master’s program will help graduates develop a unique skill set that can position them as leaders in the field of psychology.
The Chicago School’s M.A. Counseling Psychology program incorporates the eight content areas outlined by the National Board of Certified Counselors. Graduates will have met the degree and coursework requirements to be eligible for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Illinois. Through The Chicago School’s M.S. Applied Behavior Analysis program, students will learn how to use modern technology to bring about socially significant behavioral changes through data-based decision making and program development.
This master’s in science program meets the degree, coursework, and supervised experience requirements to be eligible for certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®).
