Health Care Aide Program Highlights

Robertson College offers a hands-on approach to teaching and the practicum portion provides you with real-world experience that equips you with the skills to succeed in the healthcare industry. The small classes at Robertson College provides you with an environment that enables you to participate in class discussions, ask questions and receive personal feedback from instructors.

The Health Care Aide courses will train you to:

  • Provide individualized patient care
  • Assist patients with medications
  • Prepare meals while ensuring patients receive proper nutrition
  • Assist patients who have mobility issues or cognitive impairment; and
  • Manage patient admissions, transfers and discharge procedures and implement care plans

This program is delivered through a Hybrid model; a mix of on-line and on-campus learning.
