The Fashion Marketing program at LaSalle College Vancouver blends your individual creativity with your keen sense of sales and marketing and enables you to choose which direction you wish to go in the fashion industry. During this program you will be exposed to the fashion industry from a business perspective, providing you with the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills you need to market companies, create advertising campaigns and identify appropriate messaging to the company’s target demographics.
What Will I Have the Opportunity to Learn?
You will be introduced to foundation skills such as colour theory, fashion history, textile and fabric fundamentals. You will later move on to topics such as trends and forecasting, consumer behavior, merchandise management, advertising and fashion marketing.
Prior to graduation, you will focus on developing your portfolio and securing an internship and e-commerce and Web marketing.
The Fashion Marketing program prepares you to choose your own direction as you study merchandise presentation, visual merchandising, retailing, and buying.
Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level positions in the fashion marketing industry.
