Early Childcare Assistant

If you enjoy working with and being around children and want to make it a career, the Early Childcare Assistant program at Evergreen College will prepare you for this rewarding career in only 35-weeks.

Throughout the Early Childhood Assistant diploma program, you will learn about prenatal, infant and child development, hone your observation and communication skills, earn First Aid and CPR certifications and learn how to plan a curriculum that will stimulate a child’s emotional growth and inspire their intellectual growth.

The mandatory work practicum will give you practical experience that enables you to apply theory learning into real life situations.
