The Animation diploma program at MTM College is a 4-year diploma program that focuses on cross-disciplinary training delving deep into basic fundamentals of art, visual development and animation. This program is supervised and guided by industry professionals enabling students to learn the ins and outs of various animation software and visual development methodology while also becoming familiarized with industry production pipeline.

 

Animation Program Skills Overview

 

  • 2D and 3D Animation software
  • Fundamentals of art, including anatomy, colour theory, perspective, animal drawing, etc. and connecting those concepts to Animation.
  • In-depth comprehension of methodology for pre-production, including character design and storyboarding
  • The animation industry production pipeline, from story development to editing and rendering the final product
  • How to create a resume, compile a portfolio and making a website
