Career colleges offer career-oriented, hands-on training in areas such as business, health care and human services, early childhood education, esthetic and beauty services, travel, tourism and hospitality, culinary, media arts, information technology and trades. Credentials at career colleges include certificates and diplomas and some may offer credit programs that may qualify towards a university program.
