Associate of Arts

University Canada West (UCW) is a post-secondary institution in downtown Vancouver. It has been awarded with the Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designation for meeting or exceeding BC Provincial Government-recognized standards.

Associate of Arts

The Associate of Arts (AA) degree provides you with the necessary knowledge and skills to land your desired job role or to progress your education. The AA degree is accepted for transfer into bachelor’s degree programs at UCW Vancouver and all British Columbia degree-granting institutions.

Course Structure

Entry Requirements

• Canadian High School (Grade 12) diploma or equivalent with an overall average of C or better (2.0 on a 4.33 scale); 

OR

• Twenty-one (21) years of age or older and out of high school for at least two years, and
• Documented success through academic, professional or volunteer activities

AND

• IELTS - 6.5 or better with a minimum of 6.0 in the writing band, or equivalent (for students whose first language is not English)
