triOS College’s PTA/OTA Program Gains Accreditation
triOS College’s Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant diploma program at the Toronto campus has been granted accreditation by the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant Education Accreditation Program (OTA & PTA EAP), the only career college in Ontario to have attained this accreditation.
“Accreditation of an education program provides assurance to future employers that graduates of the program have received a high standard of education that has been certified through National Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant standards,” says Leta Stegne, Faculty Head of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. “This provides a standard of excellence that meets and exceeds employer’s needs within hospitals, clinics and rehabilitation centers.”
The PTA/OTA program is a 63 weeks long diploma, and includes a 500-hour work placement.
