triOS College’s PTA/OTA Program Gains Accreditation

triOS College’s Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant diploma program at the Toronto campus has been granted accreditation by the Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant Education Accreditation Program (OTA & PTA EAP), the only private career college in Ontario to have attained this accreditation.

“Accreditation of an education program provides assurance to future employers that graduates of the program have received a high standard of education that has been certified through National Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant standards,” says Leta Stegne, Faculty Head of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. “This provides a standard of excellence that meets and exceeds employer’s needs within hospitals, clinics and rehabilitation centers.”

The PTA/OTA program is a 63 weeks long diploma, and includes a 500-hour work placement.
