The 3D Modeling for Animation & Games diploma program is designed to provide you with the skills needed to pursue a career in the game, animation and visual effects entertainment industries. Creative minds such as Animators, 3D Animators, Special Effects Artists, and Multimedia Artists are needed in other industries as well, to being ideas to life.
At LaSalle College Vancouver you will have the opportunity to develop the technical and creative aptitude that will enable you to demonstrate your skills to industry. Courses are designed to build a foundation of traditional artistic skill, and then apply those foundational skills through hands-on training. Course topics include sculpture, life drawing, and color theory, as well as character modeling, lighting, and digital.
Learning on industry specific hardware and software, you’ll be surrounded and inspired by other talented, creatively driven students, in a creative and supportive environment.
Each three-month term is made up of courses in which you can learn specific industry driven competencies, building on the ones before it.
