With video games running on an increasing number of platforms from home consoles, computers and mobile devices to multiplayer online games, the demand for talented and well-trained video game developers is exploding.
The Video Game Design & Development Diploma program at the Toronto Film School is a learning experience modeled on the actual video game industry. The curriculum is designed to expose students to the entire game development process from design to final release and encompass areas of study such as programming, game play design and development, usability, and production.
Courses will introduce you to object-oriented programming, and using UML (Unified Modeling Language). The Mobile Game Development courses will extend your knowledge of native mobile development by producing a mobile game for a mobile platform.
You will graduate with the confidence and knowledge of how to design a video game, and will have a complete portfolio of work that can showcase your capabilities to a potential employer.
