Recently announced grants to promote study abroad opportunities aim to increase diversity and cross-cultural competencies at the University of Calgary’s campus communities.
Students who want to study abroad can apply and take advantage of $500,000 funding the university has made available for the 2016-2017 academic year. Full-time undergraduate and master’s students who want to go on a study abroad program can get an International Study Travel Grant of up to $1,000.
Eyes High Anniversary International Exchange Awards
Students get up to $3,000 in funding
Through the Eyes High Anniversary International Exchange Awards, undergraduate students enrolled in full-time studies who will go on an exchange program at one of the 48 designated partner universities in the 2016-2017 academic year can get up to $3,000 in funding.
Students going on exchange programs at one of the designated partner universities will be nominated based on academic merit, no application is required.

Full-time U of C students earning credit on a University of Calgary study abroad program are eligible to apply for the International Studentship/International Study Travel Grant awards (each valued between $500-$1000) for the 2016-17 year!
