The online Medical Administrative Assistants courses will teach you how to greet patients and get them checked in, schedule appointments, assist with patient insurance claims, perform medical coding and more. Classes at UMA help prepare you to take the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) exam.

The online courses at UMA help prepare you to take the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam. If you meet eligibility requirements and pass this exam, you may get your certification which can help you stand out as an applicant. This certification is considered an addition to the career training you receive at UMA and is not required to graduate.
The Pharmacy Technician program will provide you with the training to make dosage calculations, use medical terms, prepare insurance claims and more. The online course also includes 180 hours of experience under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in a pharmacy. Classes at UMA help prepare you to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE).
Train for a career as a dental assistant at Ultimate Medical Academy.
At UMA, students receive hands-on training in classroom labs learning how to sterilize and prepare instrument trays, fabricate temporary crowns, obtain dental impressions, process bills and more. 240 hours of in-office experience through an externship will also be provided.
Upon graduation, you may be prepared to take the Registered Dental Assistant exam for certification.

Before graduation, 220 hours of practical experience working side-by-side with healthcare professionals at a local medical facility are also part of the training. After you graduate, you may sit for the Registered Medical Assistant exam for certification.
Nursing assistants may work in hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, or assisted living facilities, just to name a few.
In this Nursing program, you will have the opportunity to learn medical terms, lifesaving skills such as CPR and first aid, how to assist patients with activities of daily living, and how to take vital signs. Students also receive 45 hours of practical experience under the guidance of medical professionals at a local healthcare provider.
Upon graduation you may be prepared to take the Certified Nursing Assistant licensing exam.
Patient care technicians are professionals that may hold a position as home health aide, nursing assistant or medical aide. Possible work environments include hospitals, nursing homes and urgent care facilities.
As a student in the Patient Care Technician program, you will have the chance to learn how to collect fluid/tissue samples, take blood pressure, perform lab work, operate diagnostic equipment, and help patients with day-to-day activities. The Patient Care Technician program also includes 180 hours of experience in a medical facility with other healthcare professionals.
After graduation, you’ll be prepared to take the Certified Nursing Assistant licensure exam.
