TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are awarded to students in their last year of high school or CEGEP (in Quebec) who have demonstrated leadership in improving their community.
The role of a personal support worker is to provide support to people who need assistance as a result of an injury, illness or aging.
The Personal Support Worker (PSW) program at Medix College provides students with skills and competencies in a variety of clinical and interactive areas required for employment in the health care field. The practicum component gives students a well-rounded understanding of the role of the Personal Support Worker.
The PSW program is also available in Brantford, Kitchener and London, at Westervelt College.
