TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are awarded to students in their last year of high school or CEGEP (in Quebec) who have demonstrated leadership in improving their community.
Medical Office Assistants or medical secretaries perform a variety of administrative duties such as typing correspondence, preparing reports and invoices. In addition, MOAs perform specialized tasks such as patient scheduling, transcribing medical reports from handwritten notes and complete billing and claim forms.
Health Unit Clerks also perform non-clinical tasks under the supervision of nurses and are often the link between patients, nursing staff, doctors and other hospital departments.
