TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are awarded to students in their last year of high school or CEGEP (in Quebec) who have demonstrated leadership in improving their community.
Interior decorators play an important role in how an interior environment appears, functions and “feels”. Emphasis is placed on both the aesthetic and the function of a space. For example: pairing an open concept floor plan with the appropriate furniture, window treatments, lighting, colour scheme and accessories creates that customized atmosphere desired by the client.
Through the convenience of studying online, the Interior Decorating
diploma program will prepare you with the industry-based skills needed to become an interior decorator working in either residential or commercial design.
The interior decorating courses take you from home decor and staging, to retail, workplace, and set design. You’ll learn about space planning, hand drawing and computer drafting, perspectives and rendering, lighting and furnishing, textiles and sustainable materials.
Throughout the courses, you will build your professional portfolio that showcases your creative, technical, and business expertise, and you’ll also learn how to market yourself as a design professional.
