Great Plains College Reduces Tuition on Select Safety Courses

In response to Saskatchewan’s economic downturn, Great Plains College is reducing tuition costs for some of its safety courses by 15%.

Lyla Cooper, Skills and Safety Training Coordinator for Great Plain’s Swift Current and Maple Creek campuses says “We understand the challenges that are facing the oil and gas industry. Keeping safe at work should not be one of those challenges.”

The tuition reduction will be offered from March 1 to June 30, 2016 and is applicable to the following regularly scheduled safety courses.

  • First Aid/CPR
  • H2S Alive
  • Confined Space Levels I and II
  • Ground Disturbance
