Students in Florida Career College’s Dental Assistant program are trained in clinical, radiographic and preventive dentistry procedures. You’ll be exposed to different types of dentistry including Orthodontics, Pedodontics, Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics and Endodontics. This program includes hands-on training and an externship.
In the Patient Care Technician program at FCC you will learn skills including occupational therapy, radiology, advanced home health aide, and CPR. Courses include respiratory therapy, phlebotomy and hematology, an Electrocardiography and Diagnostic Imaging.
At FCC you’ll get hands-on experience while gaining skills such as compounding, mail orders, medication therapy, human relations and communication.
In this program you will gain an understanding of health industry laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and regulatory bodies that govern various healthcare professions such as HIPAA, JCAHO, and OSHA. You will also receive training in customer relations, medical records, and billing and insurance principles.
The Medical Assistant Technician program provides training in areas such CPR, pharmacology, laboratory and x-ray fundamentals, medical office procedures, and human diseases. You will also receive hands on training with experienced instructors and real-world experience through an externship!
In FCC’s Medical Front Office and Billing program you will receive training in medical office procedures where you will learn billing systems, procedural coding and insurance claim processing. In as little as 8 months, you’ll be prepared for a new career!
Florida Career College’s Business Office Administration diploma program will help you learn many skills required for an office setting. In just 10 months you’ll learn skills and tools in Marketing, human resources, accounting, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks. You’ll complete your education by doing a 200-hour externship in the office.
Are you ready to pursue a career you can feel passionate about? The Automotive Technician program covers basic through advanced automotive techniques in both a classroom and shop environment. You will learn how to conduct basic automotive diagnostic, repair and safety procedures.
In Florida Career College’s HVAC program, you will learn how to troubleshoot, maintain, install, and repair residential HVAC systems. Coursework includes learning in a lab setting working with tools and practicing vital techniques and results in preparation for two important (optional) HVAC certifications: the EPA Section 608 Certification for Stationary Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and the Universal R-410A Safety Training & Certification.
FCC’s Computer and Network Technician program will help you learn skills including how to design, install, configure, and diagnose enterprise-wide networks.
