TD Scholarships for Community Leadership are awarded to students in their last year of high school or CEGEP (in Quebec) who have demonstrated leadership in improving their community.
If you are a numbers person consider a career in accounting, bookkeeping or payroll. The Business Accounting & Payroll diploma program at Westervelt College offers accelerated accounting courses that provide business foundations as well as best practices for operating a successful business.
The Accounting and Payroll program takes a practical approach to studying bookkeeping, accounting methods and tax fundamentals. Students explore best practices for accounting in business, and will become proficient in Microsoft applications that are part of the accounting process. In addition to the accounting classes, students will also learn about the fundamentals of Marketing, the skill of negotiating in sales and small business management.
Graduates of the Accounting and Payroll program will qualify for sponsorship into the Canadian Payroll Association's Payroll Compliance Practitioner program.
Financial Assistance is available to those who qualify.
