If you’re currently responsible for processing payroll, do not have formal payroll training and are not certified, you may wonder if you should take the time to do so.
Your comfort zone is on stage. You are energized by an audience and thrive on their applause.
If you have the courage, drive, and competiveness to pursue your goal of becoming a professional performer in theatre, film or television, you should prepare yourself with an education designed to match.
The Acting Certificates are a series of five innovative theatre programs committed to classical technique and core physical training. To gain admission to each subsequent acting program beyond level one, one must have successfully completed the previous level and/or obtained permission of the department head, Dr. William “Bill” Dow, an award-winning actor and director in theatre, film, and television.
The curriculum at LaSalle College Vancouver focuses on the creative process actors must go through to perform and will be exposed to both contemporary and classical writing. Students are also invited to develop original material and their own innovative staging ideas. The acting classes comprise of movement, voice production, physical theatre, scene study, and film acting techniques.
